Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5pm

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as well as scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.

· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

· Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to the department supervisor.

· Install and repair a wide variety of electrical equipment.

· Maintains and repairs facility plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.

· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.

· May perform other duties as assigned.
